The Academy of Accelerated Learning (AAL) is an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) school authorized in February of 2011. The Academy of Accelerated Learning is a diverse community of inquiring, lifelong learners. Students are educated in a safe, caring, and respectful environment through differentiated instruction. Students are provided opportunities to take risks, reflect upon learning, and be effective communicators. AAL collaborates with community members, organizations and families to provide challenging and authentic experiences for students. Students are prepared to become internationally minded in the ever-changing world. The Academy of Accelerated Learning is part of the Milwaukee Public Schools. Milwaukee Public Schools is Wisconsin's largest school district, serving more than 74,000 students in more than 150 schools across the city. |
